Announcing the Second Annual Doris Day Blogathon!
Last year, for my second blogathon ever, I held a celebration of the magnificent Ms. Doris Day for her 95th birthday. Because I adore her so much and because many people seemed to enjoy this event, I've decided to host my second Doris Day Blogathon!
Here are the rules:
You can write about anything relating to Day -- her films, her music, her personal life, her work with animals, her role as a style icon, the list goes on! I also won't limit how many posts you want to do.
Because there is so, so much you can write about, I'd prefer no duplicates. Sorry guys, it's first come, first serve.
You can post on any of the three days of the blogathon, or you can post early! I only ask that you be sure to send me your link and I'll try to post it as soon as possible.
Now grab a banner, spread the word, and I'll see you in April!
List of Participants:
Love Letters to Old Hollywood | It Happened to Jane (1959)
The Wonderful World of Cinema | Calamity Jane (1953)
Phyllis Loves Classic Movies | I'll See You in My Dreams (1951)
Outspoken and Freckled | Day's fashion and style

DeleteHey Michaela. I would like to write a post titled: Doris Day & Rock Hudson: The True Meaning Of Friendship. It will be about the friend between the two stars.

Oops, friendship I mean. But put me down for: Doris Day & Rock Hudson: The True Meaning of Friendship. Thanks.
DeleteThat's an awesome topic! And that's alright -- I know how tough deadlines can be sometimes.
DeleteThanks. Can I also do "Teacher's Pet" as well? It's one of my favorite movies, and I've been wanting to write about it for quite some time. Luckily by then, I'll have all my stuff sorted out, and will be back in front of my game again. Besides, I owe you for past blogathons you've hosted that I was registered for, but wasn't present on the days.
DeleteSure thing! I'm always thrilled when someone wants to write about Teacher's Pet.
DeleteWow, you're in advance! ;) I'd like to go with Calamity Jane!
